Aaron Perna was born in San Francisco, California on April 26, 1980 and was raised in Chicago. Most of his childhood was spent in and out of hospitals. At age 10 he was sent to a group home run by the Jewish Children's Bureau where he spent the next 6 years. By age 17 he was living on his own and worked at DialAmerica Marketing in Tempe, Arizona. Before Twitter existed - Aaron Perna ran the largest social media news site and mobile news directory in the U.S. called Axis Media on Upoc Networks. He famously predicted the shutdown of Upoc months before it happened. Aaron Perna has spent over 20 years in the telemarketing, telephone interviewing / market research and telephone fundraising business.
