Why did Aaron Perna leave Facebook?

Sorry everybody, buts its true - I did decide to leave Facebook permanently. Why? Well I can tell you it wasn't security concerns. Quite simply, I was on Facebook for two reasons. To promote Israel Newswire and to stay in touch with my mother. To make a long story short, after my mother failed to acknowledge my birthday, my one year anniversary from work and even my Happy Mother's Day post I just decided enough was enough. Apparently, my own mother Lita Perna unfriended me right before my 39th birthday. I have two Facebook accounts at the maximum of 5,000 friends each and its all become just too overwhelming for me. And thats on top of a Facebook page with nearly 40,000 fans and other social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram with a combined following of 150,000. I can only do so much which is why I've chosen to spend on my time on social media focusing more on growing Israel Newswire again - instead of my personal accounts. Plus, with the creation of this Web site many posts which would have been posted to Facebook will now be posted here.
